This summer, we have the pleasure of two law school summer clerks: Tate Gilges in Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship and Elli McVicars in Family Law. Read below to learn more about them.
Elli McVicars is a rising 3L at the University of Washington School of Law. She plans to practice family law and is excited to support the team at Reed Longyear this summer. When she has the opportunity, Elli enjoys trying new dishes at Seattle’s countless great restaurants and exploring Washington’s parks.
Tate Gilges is a rising 3L at the Seattle University School of Law. He is primarily interested in practice areas focusing on transactional legal work such as Estate Planning, Intellectual Property (IP) & Tech Law, Entertainment and Sports Law. His hobbies include cooking, sports (he is a fan of the Seahawks, Huskies, Mariners, and Blazers), and video games.
We are excited to have them as part of our team and to help them grow as future attorneys and appreciate their support!
