Daniel H. Kim focuses his practice on estate planning and probate, guiding clients through some of life’s most important and personal decisions. He works closely with individuals and families to develop customized estate plans that reflect their values and goals—whether that involves providing for future generations, minimizing tax liability, supporting charitable causes, or protecting minor children.
Daniel discovered his passion for estate planning and tax law while attending Seattle University School of Law. To build on this interest, he earned an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, where he completed advanced coursework in international estate planning and the tax treatment of charitable giving.
Drawing from his own background as a small business owner and the child of entrepreneurs, Daniel brings a practical understanding to the planning needs of business owners—particularly when it comes to succession planning for family-run businesses. He helps clients navigate sensitive questions such as whether the next generation is prepared to lead, and how to preserve both family harmony and business continuity.
Daniel is committed to clear, responsive communication and believes that transparency is key to a successful attorney-client relationship. He strives to ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident at every stage—whether he is guiding them through the probate process or developing a long-term estate strategy.
Outside the office, Daniel enjoys traveling with his wife and children, offering them opportunities to experience new cultures and gain a broader perspective of the world.
