WAPG 2022 Virtual Spring Conference

The 2022 Spring Virtual Conference hosted by the Washington Association of Professional Guardians will take place on Tuesday May 17th, 2022. The event will be hosted virtually from 7:50 am to 3 pm.

Reed Longyear Attorney Michael Longyear, along with co-presenter Miriam Ayoub, will be giving a presentation regarding the Uniform Guardianship, Conservatorship, and other Protective Arrangements Act. This discussion will give an overview of the newly enacted UGA, as well as the major reforms, impact on professional guarding and a summary of the guardianship process under the new UGA.

Other topics will include revised forms under the new act, fiduciary objectives of working with a financial advisor, standards of practice, person centered care planning, and more. There will also be a discussion Q&A panel with all speakers.
