Humberto J. Quintanar is a dedicated family law attorney at Reed Longyear who assists clients with navigating challenging family matters such as divorce, committed intimate relationships, parenting plans, modifications, and child support issues. With a client-centered approach, Humberto develops strategic solutions tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Before joining Reed Longyear, Humberto gained significant family law experience at Skellenger Bender, PS and Goldberg & Jones, PLLC, where he represented clients in complex family law matters across Washington counties. His background also includes positions at Gordon & Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP and as an Assistant City Attorney at the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, providing him with extensive litigation and courtroom experience that benefits his family law clients. As a bilingual attorney, Humberto proudly serves Washington’s diverse communities, offering culturally competent representation to both English and Spanish-speaking clients. This capability allows him to provide comprehensive legal services to clients who might otherwise face language and cultural barriers in the legal system.

Humberto earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2018, where he excelled in advocacy competitions, including as a Finalist in the National BLSA Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from St. John’s University in 2013.

Active in the legal community, Humberto serves on the board of the Loren Miller Bar Association and contributes to the local community through his board service with the Seattle Central Little League and the Music Center of the Northwest. When not practicing law, he enjoys time with his wife and sons, playing golf, coaching baseball, and pursuing his passion for music. His commitment to family law stems from his belief in creating positive home environments for children.
