For over 30 years Doug Ahrens has been advising real estate and operating businesses, individuals, and trustees/ executors in real estate and business transactions and law, as well as personal assets planning. His experience as a civil litigator during the first 16 years of his practice enables him to provide valuable insight when advising clients, and Doug handles the full range of his clients’ needs from the complex and unusual to the basic and every-day.
Focusing on transactions, contracts, business and personal planning, specialized debt resolution, and litigation avoidance, Doug enjoys cases that require thinking outside of the box. Selecting cases where he can achieve positive results, Doug advocates careful planning and creative problem solving instead of costly and time-consuming litigation. This approach saves his clients’ time and financial resources, and also avoids the stress of litigation that clients are often unprepared for.
